HTC Flyer could have two new variants with bigger screen sizes

The past few days has been all talk about HTC’s EVO 3D, the EVO View 4G and the Flyer of course. But you would be baffled to learn that HTC may bring out 2 new variants to the Flyer in bigger screen sizes. This move is similar to the one made by Samsung who announced two new variants in different screen sizes recently.

The Flyer has received a huge response from the customers, with pre-orders crossing 1 million. Not much info is available in this regard besides the fact that these tabs would feature bigger screens and would run on Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

It is also being reported that, limited supplies of the Flyer are available in the US, due to the rising demand exceeding the maker’s capacity. As a result of this shortage in supply, US customers might find it hard to actually get their hands onto the Flyer. We think a shortage crisis for HTC is inevitable.

The Flyer as you may know features a 7-inch capacitive screen, which comes with a ‘Digital Pen’ which basically gives you a “realistic experience”.  It also comes with a 1.5 GHz CPU on board, and will run on Gingerbread but will be upgradable to Honeycomb shortly.
