Motorola Droid 3 Will Not Have 4G LTE

The Motorola Droid 3’s specs were spotted earlier on a website known for benchmarking devices. This website gave out some vital information about Motorola’s next big thing. They mentioned that the device would feature a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and a 1 GHz TI dual-core OMAP4 processor which is very tempting to say the least. Also known was the screen size (4 inches) and its qHD resolution which promises some thrills. Plus a front and back camera and a physical slide out keyboard.

And now a new source has claimed that the Motorola Droid 3 will hit the stores sometime next month and will be equipped with an 8 MP camera along with a 1.3 MP front facing camera. The source also gave out a rather disappointing/surprising information. Apparently, the Droid 3 will not feature 4G LTE capabilities(what are you thinking Motorola?). The source however isn’t as sure as the other website about the processor of the Droid 3. The website isn’t sure if the handset would come with the TI OMAP 1 GHz dual core processor or a 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor. It is almost clear though that the device would hit markets with a dual core CPU. But the fact that this device wouldn’t feature 4G LTE overshadows everything else.
