HTC Flyer available for pre-order on Clove; hitting stores Mid-April

Waiting for the HTC Flyer's launch? Here's something to lift your spirits, UK based technology firm Clove has listed the HTC Flyer as available for pre order. The website claims that the tab will hit stores in mid-April but fail to mention the pricing. Due to the inability to offer valid pricing, they've said that they'll adjust prices from the customers before the product is sent out based on who ordered first. Android 2.x to incorporate all the features from Honeycomb

Dan Morrill, Google's Open Source and Compatibility Tech Lead, has said that all of Android 3.0 Honeycomb's features would come to cellphones at a certain point of time. He gave out this information via his twitter page. There has been a lot of talk on whether Honeycomb which is Android's tablet only OS, would share some of its features with cell phones. ViewSonic ViewPad 4 coming with Android 2.4 Gingerbread?

According to ViewSonic, the ViewPad 4 smartphone will ship with Android 2.4 on board. The handset was originally said to ship with Froyo (2.2), but today ViewSonic said it would ship running Android 2.4 instead. The company said that Android 2.4 is the successor to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will retain the Gingerbread moniker and would bring some of Honeycomb's functions to the platform.
