Verizon HTC Trophy Now Being Sold For $99.99 On Newegg

The HTC Trophy has been one of the first few Windows Phone 7 devices to be launched. And Verizon currently is selling the device for roughly about $149.99 with a 2 year contract. Which when you think closely is a very good deal, given the fact that it still can be considered as a high end device with all the features one would want. And now users who are interested in getting this device might want to turn their head towards Newegg, since the retailer is offering a peach of a discount. Instead of paying $149.99 with Verizon, you can now get the device for just $99.99. That’s a discount of $50, right there.

The offer is available for both new and existing customers with qualified upgrades, on a 2 year agreement of course as most phones are offered. The phone will be shipped for free through FedEx, so that’s a bonus you would get with the device. Even though the HTC Trophy is not as new as its contemporaries, $99.99 is a very good price. So you might want to check this one out, if you’re a Verizon customer and have been wanting to get your hands on a Windows Phone 7 device.

The HTC Trophy as we said is a pretty good smartphone for its price. It features a 3.8 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a 5 MP camera capable of recording 720p HD video, a 1 GHz processor with 576 MB of RAM, 16 GB of built in storage (no external microSD card slot), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. The fact that it doesn’t have an external card slot is quite disappointing, though 16GB of storage space is quite sufficient. If you disregard the few flaws that the phone comes with, the Trophy could fit into your lifestyle. And it’s just $99.99, so it should be worth the try. And if you’re not satisfied, you can always return the phone and get a different handset.
