Twitter Planning To Buy Up TweetDeck

Popular social networking site Twitter is now in the running to acquire the well known twitter client, TweetDeck. The Wall Street Journal reports that Twitter is planning a buy up of TweetDeck worth $50 million. Recently it was heard that UberMedia was also in the running for the acquisition of TweetDeck, the company apparently made an offer of $30 million is cash and stocks. Sprint announcing a new Android smartphone on Feb 24 ?

Not more than 2 weeks ago, Sprint announced their dual-screened Kyocera Echo. It now seems like Sprint have something new up their sleeves. Twidroyd and Uber Twitter are back in the Android Market

Uber Media's twitter clients Twidroyd and Uber Twitter were suspended by Twitter on Friday claiming that they had violated certain regulations of the popular social networking site. Twitter suspends UberTwitter and Twidroyd claiming trademark infringement

Popular social networking website Twitter has suspended Uber Media's twitter clients UberTwitter and Twidroyd for Android and BlackBerry devices. Apparently these clients breached some regulations of Twitter. Twitter's Carolyn Penner said the following via twitter's support blog - "These violations include, but aren’t limited to, a privacy issue with private Direct Messages longer than 140 characters, trademark infringement, and changing the content of users’ Tweets in order to make money."
